上面的譯文似乎都沒有把 enjoy的含義翻出來。這符合原意嗎？
答：由於上面的譯者們忽略了 enjoy 的含義，結果把整個句子的意思都曲解了，因而使兩個人的對話失掉了内在的輯關係。 enjoy sth. 或 enjoy doing sth.是指“喜歡”、“從……之中得到樂趣”、“享受…之樂”( to get pleasure from sth.)。
- enjoy life. 享受人生之樂。
- Did you enjoy your holiday? 你假期過得愉快嗎？
- He was a guy who enjoyed life to the full. 他是一個充分享受了人生樂趣的人。
- I want to travel because I enjoy meeting people and seeing new places. 我想去旅遊，因我樂於認識人並參觀新的地方。
理解了 enjoy的含義和enjoy 用法，再去分析上面的對話情景，就豁然開朗了：王彬說他唯一的遺憾是他去農學院上班後離朋友們太遠了。卡爾安慰他說，去農學院上班雖然離朋友們遠了些，但是他卻可以享受到不時進城的樂趣（此所謂有一弊必有一利也）。
