feel like 用法

feel like 用法1：

問：(A) I feel like a cup of tea.
(B) I’m holding something that feels like a potato.
上面兩句中的feel like 用法在詞性和語意上是否相同？

答：句(A)中的feel like 用法(= want)，可以看作是如同look at一樣的及物介係詞（參見look at）：

1. I don’t feel like a big meal now. 我先在不想吃大餐。
2. Do you feel like a swim? 你想游泳嗎？

而在句(B)中，feel是個不及物的感覺動詞，可以用感覺者做主詞（好像是），也可以用物件做主詞（像是，摸起來像是）：

1. He feels like a fool. 他好像是個大傻瓜。
2. It feels like a stone. 這件東西摸起來像一塊石頭。
3. It feels like rain. 好像要下雨了。

feel like 用法2：

問：動詞like之後可跟動名詞或帶to的動詞不定詞。feel like 用法是否也是如此？

答：feel like 用法的詞義與動詞like的詞義是不同的。前者的意思是：想（要某物），想（做某事）（want）。當feel like 用法作“想要某物”解時，其後可跟名詞或代名詞；當feel like 用法作“想做某事”解時，其後只能跟動名詞，而不能跟動詞不定詞：

1. I feel like going to bed. I’m tired. 我想睡覺。我累了。
2. I don’t feel like beer tonight. 今天晚上我不想喝啤酒。
3. I was so angry that I felt like throwing something at him. 我氣得直想拿東西扔他。
