lovely 用法和friendly 用法
問：我知道有些形容詞是以-ly 結尾的, 如likely, friendly, lovely, silly, ugly, lonely。但不知道它們的副詞形式。
答：這些形容詞大都沒有副詞形式。
但是下列以-ly 結尾的形容詞卻同時可以用作副詞: daily, likely, weekly, monthly, yearly。
- The garbage is picked up daily.
A. There’s trash collection every day.
B. The litter gets worse every day.
C. Lee picks up the garbage during the day.
D. Lee stops at the garbage each day. - This periodical is published weekly. 這個刊物每週出版一次。
- The examination is held yearly. 考試每年舉行一次。
